DB Pro blinking advertizement

Postby Guest on Mon Feb 28, 2005 3:31 pm

DB Free is a great program. Surely its author has the right to advertize the Pro version, to be monetarily valued and respected for his work 8)

However, I reserve my humble right not to like such advertizements (blinking or non-blinking  ), so my simple request, if it's OK to ask so, is where can I please get the last version that had a clean interface ?

I am aware that prior versions has prior bugs, but I never encountered any problems, and the only reason I ever upgraded was because I was stupid enough not to follow the rule: "if it ain't broken, don't fix it"... :(

Thank you very much for your help,
and of course - thanks to the author for making such a good program - I hope you're not offended by my request for a link to an older version...

No problem at all, thanks for writing about that. I cannot promise you removal of the blinking sign in the future versions of DeepBurner Free, unfortunately. Please try not pay attention to the small advertisment.. I'd say it's not even blinking, but slooowly changes its status time to time.

hmm...real "freeware" shouldn't behave so, IMHO.

maybe put it inside the "About" screen, or only at installation please ?

version history doesn't tell when exactly it was added... I'd really like the last FREEWARE version of DeepBurner. Now it became more like "LITE" version, or even "AD-WARE"... it is very annoying, but I agree with the original post that we should be thankful enough for having it free!!!!! :D

BUT, for what it's worth, only because you said that you wanted to know: I HATE that ad!
wish it were gone............for good.............

[Mods: why is this thread on the Pro forum anyway?!?]
