Burns DVD then locks up

Possible you should wait a little to make DB acomplisah all necessary operations. It shouldn't be more then 1-2 min.

I had exactly the same problem too while doing a 'no multisession'. Burns the CD fine, and CD reads well on another computer (after a manual eject). But program stops responding and somehow stopped my printer from being recognised, task manager won't stop it either, so I had to reset the comp after waiting 15 mins. This is happening every time.
Any ideas?

Looks like DB conflicts with some another software on your computer. We'll try to fix such problems in DB 2.0

I have exactly the same problem too. I used Deepburner last version two times and i had to reset my PC. Imposible to close the program whith ctrl alt supr and, end task. This don´t work.The disc was recorder fine, but...

I have installed Nero and Alcohol 120%.

Try to uninstall Alcohol. Somtimes burning software conflicts with virtual drive software such as Alcohol, Daemon tools and etc.
