I recently began using a new internet security package called Bit Defender (highest review ratings) and now am unable to use Deep Burner at all. At first, while using the free Deep Burner software, my security said there was a trojan in the software and disabled my ability to access it. Later I tried Deep Burner Pro (which I purchased) and I still have troubles. When creating a new CD all appears o.k. until Deep Burner is nearing completion (writing lead-in and lead-out). At this point it seizes up the system, fails to complete and will not respond to any controls. I have to power off hard to recover PC functions and the create or copy CD function has destroyed another disk. Any ideas with this one? My OS is WIN XP Pro SP3 with all the latest updates. The PC is a Gateway E4300 running a 3.6Ghz Pentium 4 with 1Gig RAM.
